I am very disappointed with the customer service at Ulta .com. On Friday I went to their store in Winter Park FL to purchase the Pur Minerals Primer they had on a BOGO sale. They were out of the one that I use so I decided to purchase online. Friday afternoon I attempted to place an order and it said there was a problem with the credit card. I had just used the credit card with no problem and knew I wasn%u2019t anywhere near my limit so double checked all my entries. Everything was correct, after trying a couple more times I tried to use another credit card, and received the same message. I then tried to run it through Paypal using my checking account. It still would not go through. I tried several times on Friday and again several times on Saturday. I checked my credit card online and Ulta charged my card then issued refunds on my Visa card at least 8 times. I am still showing a charge pending on my American Express card. I called their customer service on Saturday afternoon and was told they had several calls that day with the same issue. She told me to reboot my computer and maybe that would clear it. It did not. I even tried ordering more merchandise but nope still would not go through. She also told me that if it did not go through that she had documented everything and gave me a reference number and said they would take care of me. I sent them an e-mail Saturday night around 11 PM as the sale was over Saturday. I received a response on Sunday morning that usually if a card does not go through there was something entered incorrectly. If that were the case it would not have gone through my credit card accounts. I e-mailed them again on Sunday explaining this and asked that it be escalated to a manager. No answer. I e-mailed again on Tuesday but still no answer. I have purchased a lot of stuff from Ulta but if this is how they treat their customers then I am out. I prefer to spend my money with customer oriented businesses.
